Flint Hill lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Potomac School, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's match. The Huskies put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 14-5 victory on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Huskies, who have now won 11 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Jackson Speer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on three hits.

At the plate, Flint Hill got a massive performance out of PJ Lyons, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI Lyons has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Vincenzo Fiorino, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and four RBI.

Flint Hill kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Potomac School only managed three hits.

Flint Hill's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-5. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Potomac School, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.

Coming up, Flint Hill will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Highland at 4:30 p.m. As for Potomac School, they will head out to take on St. Andrew's Episcopal at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
