If the Harvey Hornets were feeling good off their 54-24 takedown of the Glenburn Panther last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Harvey suffered a tough 60-34 defeat at the hands of Our Redeemer's Christian on Thursday. Harvey lost against Our Redeemer's Christian in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 40-37 score last time.
Harvey lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Braylee Keller, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Keller is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 11 games she's played.
Harvey struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only an offensive rebound. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Harvey has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for Our Redeemer's Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-5.
Harvey does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Our Redeemer's Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 55-40 defeat vs. Berthold on the 9th.
