Meanwhile, Pocahontas County's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by Bath County at home and fell 75-47. Pocahontas County was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-22.
Meadow Bridge has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Pocahontas County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-15.
Meadow Bridge skirted past Pocahontas County 63-60 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Meadow Bridge since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
