The South Central Trojans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 67-45 walloping at the hands of Plymouth. South Central was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-10.
Despite the loss, South Central still got an impressive performance from Gunner Ray, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. Eric Sanders was another key contributor, scoring six points.
South Central's defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-10. As for Plymouth, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Central will take on Seneca East at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Seneca East presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than South Central in Ohio (Seneca East is ranked 250th, while South Central is ranked 790th). As for Plymouth, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Crestline at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th. Crestline has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 8.
