The Covenant Christian Academy Rams suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They were beaten by Grace Christian Academy 67-38. Covenant Christian Academy has not had much luck with Grace Christian Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Ethan Riesberg was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds for Grace Christian Academy. Another player making a difference was Christian Barkley, who scored 14 points.
Covenant Christian Academy's loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 4-9. As for Grace Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 13-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Covenant Christian Academy will take on Cottage at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Cottage focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 35 last Wednesday. As for Grace Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Peoples Baptist Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Peoples Baptist Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 524th, while Grace Christian Academy is ranked 211th).
