The West Carroll Thunder's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They took a 54-39 bruising from Bureau Valley.
Bureau Valley's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kate Salisbury, who scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Salisbury is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now stole two or more in the last seven games she's played. Lynzie Cady was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 steals.
West Carroll's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Bureau Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.
West Carroll will be playing at home against Prince of Peace Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bureau Valley's road trip will continue as they head out to face Princeton at 7:00 p.m. on December 4th. Princeton will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
