The Edgewood Warriors put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 62-20 win over Harvey. Edgewood has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 30 points or more this season.
Katie Mccollister continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 21 points along with five steals. Another player making a difference was Annie mae Johnston, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Edgewood's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points per game. As for Harvey, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.
Edgewood will head out on the road to take on Andrews Osborne Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Harvey, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Riverside at 2:45 p.m. on Monday. Riverside has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 200 points over their last three matchups.
