Meanwhile, Dunbar faced Ballou in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Dunbar put the hurt on Ballou with a sharp 28-7 victory on Thursday. The result was nothing new for Dunbar, who have now won nine contests by 21 points or more so far this season.
Friendship Collegiate Academy's victory bumped their season record to 10-2 while Woodson's loss dropped theirs to 7-5.
