The Tigers will venture away from home to take on the Pride at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Wilson Prep comes in on five and KIPP P on 11.
Wilson Prep is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They put the hurt on Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy with a sharp 64-40 win. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 20 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Travon Usher, who rushed for 224 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.6 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 121 rushing yards. Tyquan Whitaker made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Wilson Prep was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 432 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 184 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
Wilson Prep didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Brandon Bruno and Whitaker. Bruno got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for KIPP P against Sallie B. Howard on Friday as the squad secured a 48-7 victory. The Pride are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the seventh game they've won by 20+ points this season.
Wilson Prep better keep an eye on Josiah Esperance. He was instrumental in KIPP P's win, rushing for 135 yards and three TDs on only seven carries. Esperance's longest rush was for an impressive 66 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Tamaues Person was another key player, rushing for 90 yards and one score on only eight carries.
Wilson Prep now has a winning record of 6-5. As for KIPP P, their record now sits at 11-0.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Wilson Prep has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 318.5 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like KIPP P struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 224.4 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Everything came up roses for Wilson Prep against KIPP P when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 36-8 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
