Hawaiian Mission Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Marcellus McCullah led the charge by dropping a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that McCullah pulled down eight or more rebounds. Manny Garcia was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five steals.
Hawaiian Mission Academy's victory bumped their record up to 1-4. As for ASSETS, they bumped their record down to 0-2 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
