College Park is 4-0 against Berean Christian since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. While losing is never fun, College Park can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 489th, while Benicia is ranked 129th).
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Connor Whittles, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Wray, who scored 15 points.
Meanwhile, Berean Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their ninth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 84-42 loss at the hands of Las Lomas. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Berean Christian has suffered since December 12, 2023.
College Park's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Berean Christian, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.
College Park took their win against Berean Christian in their previous meeting back in February of 2016 by a conclusive 66-42. With College Park ahead 43-16 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
