On Wednesday, Dracut really took it to Innovation Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 75-27 victory at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-16.
Bryce Kankam and Sam Horace certainly did their best on Wednesday to try and avoid the loss. Kankam scored six points along with six rebounds, while Horace scored eight points.
Dracut's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Innovation Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Dracut will be home for the holidays to greet Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Innovation Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Nashoba Valley Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Massachusetts (Nashoba Valley Tech is ranked eighth, while Innovation Academy is ranked tenth).
