The Wilmington Christian Warriors have enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they must head out on the road. They will take on the St. Andrew's Cardinals on Thursday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Wilmington Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against Freire Charter School Wilmington on Tuesday, sneaking past 67-63. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps rankings' forecast.
Speaking of close games: it was a close one, but on Tuesday St. Andrew's sidestepped Tatnall for a 55-51 win.
The Warriors were close but no cigar in the teams' previous meeting last December as they fell 53-50 to the Cardinals. Can Wilmington Christian avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll soon find out.
