The Seekonk Warriors will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Fairhaven Blue Devils at 6:30 p.m. One thing working in Seekonk's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matches.
On Monday, Seekonk earned a 60-52 victory over Southeastern RVT. 60 seems to be a good number for Seekonk as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Johnny Payne continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 31 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Beausoleil, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Fairhaven's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They took a 51-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Case. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Fairhaven has scored all season.
Seekonk's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Fairhaven, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
Seekonk didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Fairhaven in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 64-58 win. Does Seekonk have another victory up their sleeve, or will Fairhaven turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
