 In other batting news,  Braylon Waddell was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing four bases while going 1-for-3. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Nick Rye, who  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while going 2-for-4.
 The  victory  got East Columbus back to even at 8-8. As for Heide Trask, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost four of their last five matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record  this season.
 East Columbus will look to defend their home field  on Tuesday against West Columbus at 7:00  p.m. West Columbus is coming into the  matchup with five straight  defeats on the road,  meaning East Columbus will have to defend against a  squad hungry for a  win. As for Heide Trask, they will  take on Pender at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
