Katelynn Kimsey made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Lylah Morgan, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.
Perrydale's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.3 runs over those games. As for Colton, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9-1.
Friday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Perrydale has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .612. However, it's not like Colton struggles in that department as they've averaged .518. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
