They took a 41-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of Central Christian. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Medina Christian Academy in their matchups with Central Christian: they've now lost three in a row.
Despite the loss, Medina Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Adriana Smith, who scored 14 points along with five blocks and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Smith has scored all season. Ashley Conwill was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Medina Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Central Christian, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-9.
Medina Christian Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Our Lady of the Elms at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Our Lady of the Elms has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Central Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Crestline at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
