Arcanum got themselves on the board against Tri-County North on Wednesday, but Tri-County North never followed suit. They blew past the Panthers 10-0. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Arcanum is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Tri-County North, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Arcanum is set to face off against their familiar foe Newton Local at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Trojans 3.8, the Indians 4.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Tri-County North will square off against rival Ansonia at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
