It was a good run, but Richmond unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Lafayette Jefferson Bronchos. The Red Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bronchos apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Richmond's loss dropped their record down to 10-18. As for Lafayette Jefferson, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-19 record this season.

Richmond and Lafayette Jefferson are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Red Devils will face off against Greenfield-Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lafayette Jefferson, after both having extra time off, they and McCutcheon will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
