Basketball Recap: Enochs Wins Going Away Against Downey

Enochs won the last time they faced Downey and things went their way on Wednesday too. Everything went the Enochs Eagles' way against the Downey Knights as the Enochs Eagles made off with a 64-41 win. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 20 points or more this season.

Downey's loss came despite strong showings from Solomon Paris and Andrew Miller. Paris almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine boards, while Miller almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds. Paris has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Kayden Mcdonald was another key player, putting up five points and seven boards.

Enochs is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points over those games. As for Downey, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 17 of their last 19 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-22 record this season.
