Carlos Toscano Delivers Best Effort of Season
Greenway came up short on Friday despite Carlos Toscano delivering his best game to date. Toscano rushed for 274 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 60 yards.

On Friday, Peoria got the W thanks in part to Cristian Carrillo playing the best football he has all season. Carrillo rushed for 136 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. He is becoming a predictor of Peoria's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is 3-1 (and 0-3 when he doesn't).
