While Killingly's win against Wheeler wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Redmen had just enough and edged out the Lions 5-4. The Redmen haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Killingly now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Wheeler, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Killingly will face off against Woodstock Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Redmen's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Centaurs have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season. As for Wheeler, they will challenge Montville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wolves will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight.
