Colfax came into Thursday's matchup having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Pomeroy Pirates on Thursday as they made off with a 14-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 11 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Colfax's record is now 13-6. As for Pomeroy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season.

Colfax will face off against Freeman at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Scotties will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight. Pomeroy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
