Even though the Craigmont Chiefs scored an imposing 55 points on Friday, the Power Center Academy Knights still came out on top. Everything went Power Center Academy's way against Craigmont as Power Center Academy made off with a 76-55 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Power Center Academy.
Nazir Allen was on fire: he dropped a double-double on 30 points and 16 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Cardale Manual, who scored 11 points along with 7 rebounds.
Power Center Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Craigmont, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Power Center Academy will face off against Germantown at TBD on Saturday. As for Craigmont, they will head out on the road to face off against Trezevant at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
