Lutheran entered their tilt with Fort Zumwalt East on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Lions.

William Raum paced Lutheran's offense, picking up five kills. Raum got some help from Charlie Bennett and his 11 assists. Rylan Versemann controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Fort Zumwalt East, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Lutheran didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against De Smet Jesuit on the 29th. As for Fort Zumwalt East, they will face off against Holt at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
