After soaring high against Hargrave Military Academy last week, Icarus fell to the ground on Friday. Atlantic Shores Christian came up short against Norfolk Christian, falling 28-40. If Atlantic Shores Christian were expecting to get some payback for the 12-42 loss against Norfolk Christian the last time they met, then they were left disappointed. The match pushed Atlantic Shores Christian down to 1-2 and pulled Norfolk Christian up to the reverse at 2-1.
Next week Atlantic Shores Christian take on Fuqua at Virginia Beach Sportsplex at 7:00 PM. As for Norfolk Christian, they will face off against Roanoke Catholic.
