Baseball Recap: Sunray Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Sunray entered their tilt with Sanford-Fritch on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the Eagles. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won 12 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Sunray got a massive performance out of Christian Sauceda, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Adam Amaya, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Sunray kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 13 hits in three consecutive games.

Sunray's victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Sanford-Fritch, they moved to 13-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Sunray will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
