Last Tuesday, Byng beat the Longhorns 52-41. That's two games straight that Byng has won by exactly 11 points.
Meanwhile, Plainview put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Kingston 51-23 on the road.
Plainview got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jacelyn Hammon out in front who scored 13 points along with seven assists and six steals. Hammon is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 12 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Marya Southerland, who scored 17 points along with three steals and two blocks.
Byng is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for Plainview, their victory bumped their record up to 15-3.
