Troy extended their winning streak to three on Monday, bumping their season record up to 9-5 in the process. They were the clear victors by a 15-4 margin over the Atchison Phoenix. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won seven contests by six runs or more so far this season.

As for Atchison, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since April 8, 2024.

For Atchison's part, Jadyn Boldridge was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenzie Weedon-Jacobs, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Troy beat Atchison by a score of 10-2 later that day.
