The Bonney Lake Panthers came tearing into Tuesday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Bainbridge by a score of 35-28. The score was all tied up 14-14 at the break, but Bonney Lake was the better team in the second half.
Several Spartans players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Garrett Goade, who rushed for 112 yards and a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Grant, who rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.
Bonney Lake's win was their third straight on the road , which pushed their record up to 7-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.3 points per game. As for Bainbridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.
Bonney Lake will head out on the road to face off against Monroe at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bainbridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
