Eagle Valley's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Josie Fitzsimmons, who scored 11 points along with 6 rebounds.
Moffat County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mena Tucker led the charge by scoring 3 points along with 7 rebounds and 6 steals. Another player making a difference was Emma Tucker, who scored 8 points along with 3 steals.
Eagle Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Moffat County, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
