After losing to Broken Arrow the last time they met, Tate decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Aggies came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 5-2 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Aggies.

Bryton McLellan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on four hits.

On the hitting side, Evan Taylor was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Tate hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in ten consecutive matchups.

Tate's record is now 11-5. As for Broken Arrow, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Tate will be playing in front of their home fans against Claremore at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Broken Arrow, they will venture away from home to face off against Christ Presbyterian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Tigers 3.9, the Lions 3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
