Pineapple Cove Classical Academy has struggled against Cocoa Beach recently, as their game on Wednesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Pineapple Cove Classical Academy still got an impressive performance from Rachel Waine, who scored 13 points along with six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Waine has scored all season.
Cocoa Beach's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kendra Weth, who scored 11 points. Charlotte Cordis was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Pineapple Cove Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Cocoa Beach, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-10.
Pineapple Cove Classical Academy will face off against West Shore at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. West Shore is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak. Cocoa Beach won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Edgewood at 7:00 p.m. on January 25th. Hopefully Edgewood focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday.
