The Business Engineering Science Tech Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the North Cobb Christian Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
Last Thursday, things could have been worse for Business Engineering Science Tech, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 28-14 loss to South Atlanta. It was the first time this season that Business Engineering Science Tech let down their fans at home.
Khylen Harris-norman put forth a good effort for the losing side as he picked up 137 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, North Cobb Christian entered their tilt with Mount Paran Christian with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Everything went North Cobb Christian's way against Mount Paran Christian on Friday as North Cobb Christian made off with a 40-14 win. The result was nothing new for North Cobb Christian, who have now won five contests by 21 points or more so far this season.
North Cobb Christian relied on the efforts of Teddy Jarrard, who threw for 292 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.3 yards per attempt, and Will Mosely, who gained 191 total yards and three touchdowns. Dj Huggins did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 85 receiving yards and a touchdown.
North Cobb Christian's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. Leading the way was Raymond Dixon and his two sacks.
Business Engineering Science Tech has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for North Cobb Christian, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 7-2.
