Section 5 Genesee Region recap November 5, 2013
Alexander scaled the state rankings by moving to 100 from 151 this week, the biggest jump in Section 5 Genesee Region. The Trojans climbed the ranks as a result of losing to Clyde-Savannah 30-24.
Oakfield-Alabama lost to Dundee 34-8 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Hornets' Allen Chatt and Nick Tambe have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-8 quarterback Chatt has thrown for 977 yards this season, while Tambe has 17 catches for 473 yards. Matt Perry from Attica leads the league in rushing with 945 yards.
Perry has rushed for 945 yards on 109 carries so far this year.
Alexander made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 4,329 from 5,747. The improvement was largely due to a 30-24 victory over Jack Rennolds' team last week.
