When it comes to explaining why Grand Island Central Catholic lost, one person who can't be blamed is Carolyn Maser. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. Those 15 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Maggie Herbek, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Grand Island Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 5-1. As for Lincoln Christian, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.
