The Hope Christian Academy Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight defeat. Their rough 57-34 defeat to First Christian might stick with them for a while. Hope Christian Academy has not had much luck with First Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
First Christian found their leader in underclassman Reagan Davis, who scored 34 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Davis has scored at least a third of First Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Analy Ellis, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Hope Christian Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season. As for First Christian, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-9.
Hope Christian Academy will look to defend their home court on Monday against Brunswick Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. First Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
