If Silver Stage was riding high  fresh off their  3-0 takedown of enCompass Academy on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Nighthawks fell  3-1 to the Oasis Academy Bighorns on Wednesday. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Nighthawks in their meetings with the Bighorns: they've now lost five in a row.

 Joselyn Fayaud paced Silver Stage's offense, picking up four kills. Fayaud got some help from  Leah Tripp and her two assists.  Amy Welch controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
 Among those leading the charge was   Lyannrose Goss, who  had 15  digs and three  aces. That's the most  aces  she has posted since back in September.
Silver Stage's loss dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Oasis Academy, their win  ended  an  11-match drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 5-17.
 Silver Stage didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  3-0  defeat against North Tahoe on the 25th. As for Oasis Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  contest,  a  3-0  victory against Coral Academy of Science - Reno on the 24th.
