The Delta Rabbits lost against the Canyon View Falcons back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Delta fell 52-44 to Canyon View. Delta has struggled against Canyon View recently, as their matchup on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Delta still got an impressive performance from Cai Henderson, who scored 20 points along with five rebounds and two steals. That was a full 45.5% of Delta's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Jaytn Brough, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Delta has not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Canyon View, they pushed their record up to 10-4 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home.
Delta will take on Richfield at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Richfield will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. As for Canyon View, they will head out on the road to take on Carbon at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Carbon will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Utah Rankings (they are ranked 98th, while Canyon View is ranked 28th).
