On Friday Thomas Alamillo struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits (and not a single walk). The effort also marked the fewest walks (zero) Alamillo has had since back in April of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fourth in a row with more than five strikeouts. For the season, he has an ERA of 3.30 over 23.3 innings pitched.
