Wellington School's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Roarke Marincic, who scored 17 points. Marincic continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Skyler Nicholson was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with 14 rebounds and three steals.
Wellington School's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Millersport, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wellington School will face off against Miller at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Millersport, they will head out on the road to take on Bishop Rosecrans at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
