After having lost a blowout to Sioux Falls Christian in their previous game, Sioux Valley were happy to find some success on Friday. Sioux Valley came out on top against Lennox with a 28-16. Sioux Valley have a history of success against Lennox, winning their last head-to-head 41-10.
Sioux Valley got off to a slow start in their previous match, but they had no such trouble against Lennox and cruised to a 22-point first half. Meanwhile, Lennox couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 22-0 heading into the break. Although Sioux Valley wound up losing the second-half battle, they still had enough in reserve to win the war. The contest brought them to 2-3 and dropped Lennox to a mirror-image 3-2.
Sioux Valley will stay at home next week against McCook Central/Montrose at 7:00 PM. Both teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins. As for Lennox, they will face off against Madison.
