Crowley hasn't had much luck against Weatherford recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Eagles will head out to take on the Kangaroos at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Crowley is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past North Crowley 21-6 on Tuesday.

Those eight RBI gave Anayah a new career-high. Emiree Pearson also deserves some recognition as she got her first hits of the season.
Crowley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .644. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Weatherford, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 4-0 win over Mansfield on Tuesday.
Not much got past Kyndall Jones, who gave up just two hits and racked up 12 Ks to keep Mansfield off the board. Those 12 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for Jones.
At the plate, Mia Coleman was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Joey Fross, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.
Weatherford's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-10. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Crowley, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 5-8.
Crowley might still be hurting after the 16-4 loss they got from Weatherford when the teams last played on March 3rd. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
