Strasburg is 0-10 against Page County since May of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Rams will welcome the Panthers at 6:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
If Strasburg beats Page County with 12 runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. The Rams beat Rappahannock County on Tuesday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 12-1. With that win, the Rams brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.

Ava Mayhew made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-4. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Strasburg let Karaline Brill and Addison Morgan run wild. Brill went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs, while Morgan scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. That's the most runs Brill has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Patience Barton, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Strasburg was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .485. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Page County). Their pitchers stepped up to hand Madison County a 17-0 shutout on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won three games in a row.
Strasburg is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Page County, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.
Strasburg suffered a grim 10-4 defeat to Page County in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Will the Rams have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other softball content.
