If the Torres Toros were riding high off their 44-23 takedown of the Animo Bunche Stallions last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Torres was beaten by Bravo 100-26 on Monday. Torres has not had much luck with Bravo recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Bravo found their leader in underclassman Dylan Nunez, who scored 29 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which Nunez has scored at least 25% of Bravo's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Eder Jimenez, who scored 20 points.
Torres' defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Bravo, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Torres will face off against Lincoln at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bravo will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Eagle Rock at 4:30 p.m. on December 6th. One thing working in Eagle Rock's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
