Mason Maltba was incredible, scoring a run while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Easton Brooks was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
Community Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Westminster Catawba Christian, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
Monday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Westminster Catawba Christian hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .321. However, it's not like Community Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .339. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
