If Princeton wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Midway, they should've done a better job of containing Ella Clark. The Raiders came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 3-1 on Thursday thanks in part to Clark, who had four digs and three aces. She has been hot for a while, having also posted 12 or more assists the last 29 times she's played.

Midway had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 15-25, 25-21, 25-13, 25-19.

Despite the loss, Princeton still got an impressive performance from Addison Taylor, who had 26 assists and one block.

The victory made it two in a row for Midway and bumps their season record up to 2-2. As for Princeton, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Midway will challenge Spring Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Raiders are facing the Gators at the right time seeing as the Gators are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Princeton, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Perquimans at 5:30 p.m.
