Rancho San Juan won the last time they faced Gilroy and things went their way on Saturday too. The Trailblazers won by a set and slipped past the Mustangs 2-1.

Austin Valdez was nothing short of spectacular: he had 26 digs and one assist. Ricardo Owen-Regalado also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Rancho San Juan has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-12 record this season. As for Gilroy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-10.

Coincidentally, Rancho San Juan and Gilroy will both be playing Ann Sobrato the next time they take the court. The Trailblazers will head out to face the Bulldogs at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Mustangs will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
