The Bountiful Redhawks will head out to challenge the Skyline Eagles at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bountiful is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.
Bountiful proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 11) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Woods Cross, sneaking past 4-2. The win was familiar territory for the Redhawks, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Dylan Carpenter spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on eight hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Bountiful saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aspyn Danner, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.
Hunter hit Skyline with a six-run second inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Eagles lost 11-3 to the Wolverines. The Eagles have struggled against the Wolverines recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Isabelle Rupp made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Abigail Wright was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.
Bountiful now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Skyline, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-17.
Skyline's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Bountiful has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9 hits per game. It's a different story for Skyline, though, as they've been averaging 9.9 hits. Given Bountiful's sizable advantage in that area, the Eagles will need to find a way to close that gap.
Bountiful got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March against Skyline by a conclusive 15-4 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Redhawks since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
