The Maimonides M-Cats put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on Whitinsville Christian with a sharp 59-35 victory. The score was close at the half, but Maimonides pulled away in the second half with 38 points.
Whitinsville Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caleb Deters, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Cam Desmarais, who scored ten points.
Maimonides pushed their record up to 15-0 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Whitinsville Christian, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
Maimonides will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Neighborhood House Charter at 8:00 p.m. Neighborhood House Charter is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Whitinsville Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Assabet Valley RVT at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
